Q – When will the Award winners be announced?
A - The Gulfood Awards culminate in a Gala Awards Dinner on Sunday 19 February, 2012 where the Awards winners will be announced. Over 400 Middle East food and beverage professionals and VIP special guests will gather to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of the industry. Gala dinner tickets are available.
Q - What are the criteria for entering the Awards?
A - Any company, organization, service provider, agency, supplier or individual that meets the criteria for entry for each Award can enter. Entries are open to products, services and initiatives launched in the Middle East since 1 March, 2011 and will be judged by an international panel of independent industry experts.
Q – When is the deadline for receiving Award entries?
A – All completed entries must be received by the Awards administrator by 5pm, Thursday 19 January, 2012.
Q – Where to I send my completed Awards entry?
A - Please note all submissions and supporting materials need to be submitted and reach the Awards Coordinator at the address below before 5pm, Thursday 19 January, 2012. Submissions made after this date will not be accepted.

Q - What is the cost of entering an Award?
A - Each Award entry costs US$ 150 or AED 550.
Q - Can I enter more than one Award?
A - There are 8 categories and 20 Awards and there is no limit to the number of categories or nominations you can submit. Companies or individuals may enter more than one category provided that each entry has been specifically written to address the relevant criteria and is accompanied by a separate entry form.
Q – What happens if I have confidential information that I wish to submit in my Awards entry?
A - We recognize and respect the sensitive nature of the information submitted in the entries. Entries are not disclosed or discussed outside the judging process. We do not publish the names of companies, organizations or individuals that have not been shortlisted nor will we reproduce any information from your entry without prior permission. Therefore if you enter the Awards, but are not successful, this will remain confidential.
In addition, entrants may mark any commercially sensitive information contained in their entry as ‘not for publication’.
All entries and supporting material supplied for the judging process will be used solely for the purpose of the Awards and will be destroyed after the Awards presentation.
The organizers reserve the right to use information contained in the winning entries (apart from any content marked not for publication) for subsequent publicity, promotions and other activities relating to the Awards.
Q - Why should we enter the Awards?
A - The Gulfood Awards set the standards across all aspects of the Middle East food and beverage industry and submitting an Award nomination provides organizations and individuals the opportunity to benchmark their performance against the best of the best. Winning a Gulfood Award is considered an independent and prestigious endorsement of the achievements of your organization and will provide significant competitive advantage.
Q – What is the cost of attending the Gulfood Awards Gala Dinner?
A – The cost of an individual seat is US$ 136 or AED 500
The cost of sponsoring a table of ten seats is US$ 1,225 or AED 4,500
