Alto-Shaam was named named Overall Best in Class in three product classes: the Combi Oven, Cook and Hold Oven, and Mobile Hot Food Holding Equipment categories in the 2011 Best In Class awards from Foodservice Equipment and Supplies magazine.
This is the first time the Alto-Sham Combitherm was recognized as Overall Best in Class. This is also the tenth year in a row that the Alto-Shaam Cook & Hold Oven earned the Overall Best in Class designation, and the second time the Alto-Shaam Holding Cabinets and Drawer Warmers places on top of the Best In Class designation.
"These product categories are the backbone of Alto-Shaam's offering,"said Steve Maahs, president and COO of Alto-Shaam. "First and foremost, we listen to both our customers and our distribution partners to assess their needs in this ever-changing industry. Then, our design engineers work hand-in-hand with our manufacturing staff to design and produce the best equipment on the market. We also would not be where we are without our dedicated factory workers who build this award-winning equipment every day."
Foodservice Equipment and Supplies magazine partnered with an international research firm to ask its subscribing foodservice operators, dealers, and consultants to evaluate equipment manufacturers on seven critical characteristics that impact their purchasing decisions. These factors are: product quality, product value, product design and aesthetics, service and support, sales representation, product inventory and availability, and product information availability. In all, 48 product categories are ranked.
