The Seventh Dubai International Food Safety Conference and IAFP's First Middle East Symposium on Food Safety will be held from the 21st to the 23rd of February, 2012 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre
This conference is organized by the Food Control Department of Dubai Municipality and the International Association for Food Protection and is supported by the Ministry of Environment and Water in UAE, International Association for Food Protection, Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority and and UAE University.
Dubai International Food Safety Conference is an annual meeting of food safety professionals from different parts of the world and is one of its kind in the region. Each year, the conference addresses a variety of issues that affect food safety and facilitates mutual cooperation among regulatory agencies and the food industry. Needless to say, strong relations and dialogues between national and international counterparts built during the conference have helped us in strengthening and facilitating existing mutual cooperation with national and international jurisdictions in scientific and regulatory areas and reducing risks associated with food supply.
Various workshops, technical sessions, and poster presentations during the conference will feature more than 100 presenters from all across the globe. The programs are designed to suit the food industry, regulatory authorities and the students who are working in the field of food safety or interested in it.
