Chakra Ponni Boiled Rice
Ponni rice is a rice cultivar created in 1986 by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Rice is primarily grown along the Cauvery River's banks in the cities of Ariyalur, Trichy, and Madurai. Some rice is shipped to Europe, the United States, north, east, and west Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, but the majority is exported to Southeast Asia, Papua New Guinea, and Australia. Benefits: It is high in nutrients and a wonderful source of protein. One cup of cooked parboiled rice contains 2 to 3% of the recommended daily allowance for calcium, iron, magnesium, and potassium. Ponni rice has numerous health benefits and is particularly useful for high blood sugar patients and diabetics in some kinds, as well as being easily digested.
