Koshi Hikari rice is a short-grain rice, and is naturally flavored. It is the most popular rice in Japan, and is especially appreciated for its rich taste and shiny aspect. Cooking instructions: When cooking in a pot, the ratio is 1 cup of rice for 1.1~1.2 cups of water. 1. Rinse the rice 3 to 4 times until water becomes clear 2. Put both rice and water in a pot and bring to a boil over medium heat 3. Put the lead on and simmer over low heat for about 10 minutes (or until water is absorbed) 4. Turn off the heat and let the rice stand with the lead on for another 10 to 15 minutes 5.
