Every product of Sary’s sausage factory is accompanied by a story full of interest, which origins from the Karamanlis race of Kappadokia and a little house in Agiasi of Adana, till the feet of the mountain Falakros in the Drama region, Greece. For 120 years now, Sarimpogias family keeps unalterable the recipe of the sausages that wakes up the memories of other times. Pure ingredients, authentic “meraki” (ardent desire) from Kappadokia combined with endless doses of tradition which is a vital part of the Sary brand. This is the recipe of Sary’s sausages. Having as a precious supply the technique of pastirmas, Sarimpogias family could not do anything else but to follow the “tradition” which led them to be established into the field of sausages factories. The family came to Greece at Kokkinia (Piraeus region) in 1890, having in their luggage traditional recipes for pastirmas, sujuk and salami. In 1938 they have made a name for themselves in Drama (northern Greece), where they began their first workshop. Today, the fourth generation continues with devotion the grandfather’s dream, following and adjusting his recipes and his advices in the demands of today, through their extra contemporary factory, which is certified by ISO and HAACP certification. By following all the required specifications, a range of products has also been Halal certified.
