REBELS 0.0% is the first Swiss non-alcoholic spirits startup and was founded in 2020 by Christof Tremp, who moved to Zurich from Nidwalden, after he gave up his long corporate marketing career (most recently as Head of Marketing at Lindt & Sprüngli) and turned 600 km across Spain on the Camino de Santiago. The idea came up when he realized that it's always that last gin & tonic that you regret the next morning and that too often you only drink alcohol for a lack of exciting alternatives. Apart from boring water or 'mocktails' that are too sugary, there are hardly any non-alcoholic options in such situations. Together with co-founder Janick Planzer from Cham/Zug, brand manager for well-known spirits brands and partner of the KASPAR Bar in Lucerne, the two want to break social drinking norms with their FREEING THE SPIRIT OF SPIRITS mission and celebrate the free choice of all connoisseurs. The REBELS 0.0% spirits alternatives are inspired by the classics and serve as an alcohol-free basis for the most popular aperitifs, long drinks and cocktails. Made in Switzerland, the unique double distillation process brings out the typical and complex aromas even without alcohol.
