Expansion of the management/ Tiemann and Westerwelle new in the now three-member management/ further expansion in Germany and the USA
Mainz, 19.10.2022.- The pretzel bakery Ditsch GmbH has expanded its management and thus sets clear signs for the further future development. New to the management team are now Klaus Westerwelle as Managing Director Operations and Björn Tiemann as Managing Director Sales & Business Development. Westerwelle and Tiemann support the previous sole Managing Director Sebastian Gooding and complete the Ditsch trio. In the now three-person management team, Gooding will focus on the strategic further development of the tradition-rich wholesale bakery in the USA and the EU. Ditsch produces in Germany and the U.S.; and, as the global market leader in the pretzel baked goods segment, sells to more than 30 countries. Sebastian Gooding will continue in his role as Managing Director B2B following the successful expansion projects in Germany and the USA. "Björn Tiemann and Klaus Westerwelle are long-standing executives of Großbäckerei Ditsch and bring extensive experience in the German and international business of the frozen food industry," Gooding explained. And, "We are counting on stable further development in the U.S. as well as in Germany." Sebastian Gooding added: "We are continuing the continuous and continuous and dynamic development once started by Peter Ditsch." Ditsch employs around 1,200 people in Mainz and Oranienbaum (Saxony-Anhalt), Cincinnati (USA). A total of just under one billion pieces of baked goods are produced each year.
