Road Test: Mast Chew
What is it? A natural chewing gum, made with resin from Pistacia trees. So what? So it’s quite distinct from mass-produced gums, many of which are made of synthetic polymers derived from petroleum (true, that). You’ll really notice the difference – if you can get past first appearances. Anything else? They’re Australian made, and flavoured with natural sweeteners and mint oil. They’re fine to swallow, too – natural gum is easily digested and “soothing” to the stomach, the manufacturers say. So no excuses for sticking it under your seat when you’re finished with it…
