El almidón de trigo se presenta en forma de polvo blanco fino, insoluble en agua fría, dicho almidón se obtiene a partir de la harina, separándolo del gluten y otros componentes de la misma mediante un proceso de lavado en el cual se utiliza exclusivamente agua. Finalmente es secado en un secador flash. Aplicaciones: • Como espesante • Como aglutinante • Como estabilizante • Como carga •En la industria alimenticia: Panadería, snacks, postres, salsas, aderezos, pastas, golosinas, premezclas, industria cárnica, baby food, entre otros. •En la industria alimento animal, Petfood y aquafeed. •Usos industriales: papeleras, cartones, adhesivos, placas de yeso, porcelana fría, cartulinas y briquetas.
