Whey Powder
Whey is a dry powder obtained from milk processed during the production of cheese. It is obtained in four main stages: purification, pasteurization, thickening and drying. All components, except moisture, remain in the same ratio. Whey contains healthy proteins and lactose stored from milk. Its use for various industries is due to its high biological value, health benefits and relatively low cost. Basically, whey powder serves as a substitute for milk powder.
