Rock oysters are in season during the summer in Japan. It is mainly landed on the Sea of Japan side from June to September. As its name suggests, it takes time to grow by clinging to the bedrock with strong waves, so its shell and body grow very large. Its diameter is as much as 20CM. The taste is delicate and juicy despite its size. We only select and sell rock oysters that have been grown for over three years.
