Aseer Cooperative poultry processing plant was established in 2013, with the fastest processing line 12,500 b/h, and it is upgrading the line speed to reach 15,000 b/h by the end of 2023. Therefore, it is ranked as 5th biggest poultry producer in the Middle East, with a production capacity of 97 million birds per year. Aseer Cooperative reached 60 million birds in 2022 with a development plan to reach the maximum capacity in 2024 to increase local content participation and achieve self-sufficiency in the poultry meat market in line with Saudi Arabia's vision 2030. Aseer Cooperative through its band Osoul participates in local content by 5.8 percent of the need in the white meet market providing a variety of poultry products including whole chicken, portions, and value-added, either fresh or frozen to match the market needs. Aseer Cooperative always cooperates with farm owners to provide all services & guidelines possible in health & preventive health care under the conditions of the association to ensure high quality and health safety of poultry.
