In 1960, Mr. José Morales Agudo (Zé Grande) brought together 59 coffee producers in our region with the purpose of constituting a cooperative with the main objective of standardizing and exporting all the production of its members and also defending their interests, both in terms of commercialization of its products as well as assistance and supply of consumer goods for its crops. On 06/03/1960, the general meeting for the constitution of the cooperative was held, and its statutes were approved at that meeting. With the funding obtained from the Instituto Brasileiro do Café and the payment of shares by the members present, the construction of warehouses, bins, scales, offices, etc., began. The Cooperative now has 18 affiliates spreas throughout the states of São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul. These affiliates were established to better serve small and mid-sized producers with a focus on remaining close to family farming. The Cooperative currently boasts around 5.000 members, mostly small and mid-sized farmers, and many of whom belong to family farms. In this way, we always keep close to our members, bringing the quality assistance and the Essence of Agribusiness to everyone!
