Filicori Zecchini is one of the oldest Italian coffee roasters and, for one hun-dred years now, has worked alongside the best bartenders , pastry chefs and cooks in 43 countries. The mission of Filicori Zecchini has always been to reach perfection in the unmistakable aroma and special flavor of Italian Espresso. This is why today, just as 100 years ago, it toasts each variety of coffee bean separately, manag-ing to blend the two anime of the company: traditional craft and continuous technical innovation. The company imports directly from the best green coffee growers, scheduling its supplies of raw materials with accurate long-term forecasts, which allow it to maintain quality standards high and consistent and guarantee that unique Filicori Zecchini flavor throughout the whole year. Furthermore, the Filicori Zecchini blends respect the technical specifications of the Istituto Nazionale dell’Espresso Italiano (National Institute of Italian Espresso) scrupulously and, since 2004, can boast the prestigious title of “Es-presso Italiano Certificato” (Certified Italian Espresso). Filicori Zecchini was among the first coffee roasters to understand the im-portance of investing in training, in fact, as early as 2001, it set up the “La-boratorio dell’Espresso” Espresso Laboratory, ensuring the possibility of ade-quate professional training to all its customers. In the classrooms of the La-boratory (Bologna, Milan and New York), every year the best professional bartenders teach everything (there is to know) from the fundamental tech-niques of coffee making, to latte art and creative coffee and share their knowledge of the most recent trends with more than 1200 course participants.
