Laica is a story of passion, tradition and love for chocolate, which started in Arona in 1946. A love for chocolate that has its roots in its founder, Mr. Lino Saini, precursor of the times and great entrepreneur, who has managed to pass on to his children the love of a job that has become a company. Andrea, Fabio and Lucia Saini are the three brothers who collected the father's legacy, leading Laica to be one of the most advanced companies in the production and sale of pralines and other chocolate items, present in more than 70 countries worldwide. "Having a success story behind us means nothing, if you do not project it towards something even bigger": this is the reason for the constant innovation, both technological and staff, the development of new products and the large assortment that characterizes the production. There are about 250 employees who guarantee production shifts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and who are the heart of a growing company, which combines the very strong know-how acquired in over 70 years with the constant technological evolution, to ensure the daily production of 5 million chocolates. With 11 modern production lines, today Laica can offer an assortment of over 100 different chocolates for a total that exceeds 1000 references. In addition to the famous chocolate coins, invented by Laica in the 50s, there are many types of chocolates that the company is able to produce: pralines with or without filling, the timeless boules, the typical gianduiotti and cremini, not to forget the delicious Cherry Liqueur Boeri. An assortment that continues in the world of tablets, 500g blocks, snacks with rice or cereals, bars and all the chocolates dedicated to children and all seasons. An offer destined to grow also in the future.
