Mariani Nut Company is an almond and walnut processor founded in 1972 by cousins Jack & Dennis Mariani. Jack & Dennis came from the Santa Clara Valley to the small town of Winters, just 60 miles northeast of San Francisco, in search of new farming opportunities. After several years, they were joined in business by Jack’s brother, Martin. Initially only processing walnuts from their own orchards, the company has grown over the last 5 decades to become one of the largest, privately-held, walnut and almond processors in the world. Mariani Nut Company has developed strong partnerships not only with farmers up and down the state of California, but also customers across the globe. Our customers demand the highest quality obtainable and have directed our decisions in implementing an aggressive investment strategy into manufacturing capital.
