The parent company, Phalada Argo was started in the year 1999 by Mr. CMN Shastry with the vision to provide end-to-end solutions for organic agriculture. He knew that to ensure its success, there were two key points that needed to be addressed- one was giving farmers access to high-quality organic agri-inputs using the latest bio-technology and the other was giving the farmers a fair price with premium for the effort that they put into growing their produce organically. This was the premise upon which the company started developing and selling organic agri-inputs to farmers. Soon after we got farmers land certified, assisted them with organic cultivation, procured the organic produce at a fair price and got ourselves involved in the entire supply chain. Today we are one of the largest exporters of organic food ingredients, having clients over 25 countries, working with 10,000+ farmers and processing over 10,000 MT of produce every year. The second generation entrepreneur, Mr. Surya Shastry joined the parent company in 2008 and that led to the inception of Phalada Pure & Sure in 2011. The domestic organic food industry was just evolving during this period and Mr. Surya saw it as the right time to establish a truly organic food brand with a purpose, which could provide consumers with clean, 100% Organic food. Having a strong back-end network of organic farmers already established.
