The story of Tartuflanghe began in 1968, when founders Domenica Bertolusso and Beppe Montanaro opened their restaurant, ‘da Beppe’ in Alba. The restaurant became a Michelin-recommended destination for mushroom and truffle lovers. In 1975, Tartuflanghe was officially born, symbolizing the start of their mission to supply fresh truffles to chefs worldwide directly from the restaurant. Six years later, Beppe completed the codification of traditional recipes developed during the restaurant’s activity, and the first truffle products were introduced to the market. Thanks to Domenica’s determination and Beppe’s ingenuity, now joined by their children Stefania and Paolo, Tartuflanghe has become a benchmark for high-quality truffle-based products, proudly promoting the specialties of the Langhe around the world.
