Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) is a statutory body formed by the Export Promotion Bureau Act, 2015. Honorable Minister of Commerce is the ex-officio Chairman of the Board of Directors. A 22-member Board of Directors of the Bureau consisting of members (not below the rank of Joint Secretary) of public and private organizations/organizations. The Vice-Chairman (Chief Executive) of EPB is also the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors who implements the decisions of the Board. The nomenclature of the National Export Development Organization is self-explanatory. EPB started its journey as a government agency in 1962
