Our objective is to raise visibility and influence key strategic food industry champions for sustainable food systems transformation in the lead up to COP28 and set a precedent for the future.

As part of the Gulfood Green Initiative, we are proud to announce our own Gulfood Forest, a global tree-planting campaign and nature-based solution to Gulfood’s sustainability commitments. Our goal is to conserve, restore and grow trees across the globe to help curb climate change. The food industry is known to be a major carbon emitter and the Gulfood Forest will help us restore global forests.
The first four locations span the globe and include the UAE, Uganda, Ecuador and Indonesia. Fruit bearing trees will be planted in a number of the locations to enable families and local communities to become self-sufficient.
Plant trees now and contribute to the Gulfood Forest for a greener and better tomorrow!

We have teamed up with The Storey Group a UAE consultancy responsible for The One Billion Tree Planting Initiative (OBTI). OBTI in partnership with EcoMatcher plants forests globally and brings unique technologies, transparency and engagement to tree planting. OBTI and EcoMatcher scouts, vets and partners with amazing foundations from around the world specialized in planting trees. Every tree planted with OBTI and EcoMatcher’s vetted partners is captured with EcoMatcher’s technology and can be tracked using satellite maps, both on the web as well as the EcoMatcher free iOS/Android app.
