CHRISTIAN LE SQUER
Christian Le Squer's culinary journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication and outstanding talent. In 1986, he began his culinary education, obtaining a CAP/BEP in cookery in Vannes. By 1996, at the age of 34, he earned his first Michelin star at the Café de la Paix. In 1999, he joined the Pavillon Ledoyen, securing two Michelin stars, and in 2012, he achieved the prestigious third Michelin star. The subsequent year marked his entry into the exclusive group of chefs with 5 Toques in the Gault & Millau guide.
Assuming leadership of Le Cinq restaurant in 2014, Christian Le Squer maintained its excellence with 2 Michelin stars. The pinnacle came in 2016 with three Michelin stars, 5 Toques, and an impressive 19/20 in the Gault & Millau guide, earning him the title of Chef of the Year.
As of 2022, Christian Le Squer celebrates an extraordinary 20 years of holding three Michelin stars, a rare achievement shared by fewer than ten chefs globally. Each milestone in his remarkable career reflects a story of dedication, innovation, and culinary brilliance. His cuisine seamlessly intertwines the essence of Land & Sea.
