Jiwon Hwang, the youngest daughter of the family that runs Ojina’s parent company Insung Corp, is a sous-chef and carries out every dish herself. She brings a fresh, contemporary sensibility to Ojina's menus. Her lifelong experience of working alongside her family - farming, preparing ingredients and handling fermentation materials - gives her a deep understanding of a wide range of ingredients.
She was also part of the opening team of Chef Hooni Kim's Little Banchan Shop and his Michelin one-star restaurant Meju in New York.
