Suliman Daraghmah is BASF’s Food Fortification Lead in the Middle East. He has gained comprehensive experience in the last 10 years focusing primarily on food fortification projects for public & private partnerships. He is providing technical & scientific knowledge on micronutrients for sugar, edible oil & flour fortification to improve the nutritional quality of the food supply and to contribute to public health. Food fortification has been proven to be one of the most effective ways to combat micronutrient malnutrition. Suliman earned his bachelor’s degree in Food Science at the Al-Balqa Applied University in Jordan. In addition to his Food Fortification role, he is also Account Manager, BASF Nutrition Ingredients, and based in Dubai, UAE.
