TAKASHI NAMEKATA
Chef Takashi was a member of the “Tokyo UkaiTei” restaurant, which was chosen for the Michelin Guide Tokyo for seven consecutive years.
In 2012, Chef Takashi opened TOMO restaurant in Dubai, where he was an Executive Chef from 2015 to 2020. While he was an Executive Chef, TOMO was awarded “Dubai’s best Japanese restaurant” in 2019. He became one of the top Japanese chefs in Dubai, both in his accomplishment and popularity. He enhanced his traditional Japanese culinary skills and had the honor of serving the Japanese Prime Minister.
As a Sushi Master, he is experienced at carefully selecting the best seafood and authentic sushi in the Toyosu Market, which he is now applying to TakaHisa’s selection of imported Japanese fish. In 2021, he decided to collaborate with Executive Chef Hisao from Wagyu Kaiseki restaurant “Kohantei” in creating “TakaHisa”. Chef Takashi will continue to specialize in Sushi even further.
