Trevor Jones
Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (Ontario)
Trevor Jones was appointed Ontario's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness in March 2025. He worked successfully as a business executive in the greenhouse industry, before being elected in 2022 as MPP for Chatham-Kent-Leamington. In this position, he led Canadian procurement operations and cold supply chain management, while also advocating for Ontario farmers, increased market access, and innovation in agri-food technologies.
