The first organization of the exporters in our country began in 1937, in order to solve the problems met in the sale of Turkish products to foreign countries and to meet the need to sell them at their value. On March 19th 1940, the exporters got united under a single status.
The first of the exporters' association was founded with the decree no 2/6107 signed on March, 4th 1937 upon proposition no 4887/62 submitted by the Minister of Economy on January 30th , 1937 by virtue of the Article 7 of the Law no 3018, bearing the signature of our Great Leader Atatürk.
As as umbrella organization Mediterranean Exporter Associations began its activities in 1940 with three exporters' associations: Çukurova Cotton Exporters' Association, Livestock Exporters' Association of South Provinces and Mersin Grain, Pulses and Oily Seeds Exporters' Association.
Nowadays, 8 different Exporters' Associations are gathered under the same roof. Below, you can find a list of the associations according to the date of foundation and the related decisions.
