Eastern Trading Company (Pty) Limited t/a Darsot Food Corporation is a South African-based business. It started operations in 1993. The company specializes in manufacturing food products from local sources. The products range from canned vegetables and legumes to tomato paste, spreads and bottled water. We also produce Halaal-certified meat products. These products are marketed under the Dursots® brand and are sold in both retail and food service pack sizes, with more than 750 independent and wholesale stores and selected retailers in the country stock them. Additionally, the company is committed to using majority of its raw materials and packaging from South African sources in order to guarantee authenticity, quality, taste, nutrition, and reliable supply.
