The Brazilian Beef Exporters Association (ABIEC) was founded in 1979 and represents Brazil’s beef export sector. It brings together over 40 member companies, responsible for about 98% of the country’s beef exports, with more than 160 processing plants authorized for international trade. ABIEC’s mission is to defend the interests of exporters, promote Brazilian beef worldwide, remove trade barriers, and ensure compliance with globally recognized quality and sanitary standards. The association actively participates in national and international forums, engages with governments and institutions, and organizes promotional initiatives in partnership with ApexBrasil through the Brazilian Beef project, including major trade fairs and events. ABIEC also develops actions focused on sustainability and the global positioning of Brazilian beef, reinforcing the sector’s competitiveness abroad.
