APEDA , The Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority is an apex body of Government of India set up for export promotion of agricultural and processed food from India. APEDA is mandated with the responsibility of export promotion and development of the scheduled products like Fruits, Vegetables and their Products, Meat and Meat Products, Poultry and Poultry Products, Dairy Products, Confectionery, Biscuits and Bakery Products, Honey, Jaggery and Sugar Products, Cocoa and its products, chocolates of all kinds, Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages, Cereal and Cereal Products, Groundnuts, Peanuts and Walnuts, Pickles, Papads and Chutneys, Guar Gum, Floriculture and Floriculture Products, Herbal and Medicinal Plants, De –oiled rice bran, Green pepper in brine and Cashew Nuts and Its Products. APEDA Indian pavilion comprising of about 70 exporters of various food products are participating and promoting unique quality and healthy food products. Considering the International Year of Millets, the focus has been given on Millets and its value added products. A range of ready to eat, ready to cook food products like Biscuits and Cookies, pasta and noodles, soup, puffs, flakes, immunity boosters, breakfast cereals, breakfast mixes etc. An Indian millet gallery has been prepared for showcasing various range of millet value products for promotion in the event.
