The company specializes in poultry meat production and animal farming (chicken and pork), operating a fully integrated "grain-to-fork” chain – from breeding farms and its own agricultural crops, to slaughterhouses, processing facilities, distribution, and proprietary retail brands. In 2023, Carmistin The Food Company ranked first among Romania’s largest companies in the meat industry, with a consolidated turnover of about 315 million euros, surpassing well-known international players and reaching about 361 million euros in 2024. The poultry division represents the central core of the integrated model of Carmistin, having the largest share in the group’s turnover, with a contribution of approximately 70% to total revenues. The development of this division was the foundation of the group’s expansion, generating constant volumes, solid operational cash flow, and subsequent investments.
