ALShaikh Company was established in 1945 in (Jenin/Palestine) by Shaikh Ahmed Al-Arqawi as a simple cow farm. By 1950, the company started producing Mashmoula and Nabulsi cheese, selling them in the Palestinian market and later in the Jordanian, where they gained wide popularity for their quality and unique taste. AlShaikh Company drew its strength from the son, Abdel Salam Al-Arqawi (Abu Zakaria). To reinforce this and following the path of the founding father, Abu Zakaria continued to develop the business while preserving the authenticity of the product. He established a specialized factory for producing unique cheese for sweets and pastries, which became the largest factory of its kind in Jordan. The factory spans over 500 square meters and utilizes high-quality technology. Additionally, he founded a cow farm to supply the factory at that time with part of its daily needs of fresh milk.
