COCAMAR is a Brazilian Cooperative that was set up in 1963, by a group of 49 coffee growers but since then the Company has diversified its activities, first with cotton, later with soybean, corn, wheat and many more. Besides farming, the associated members invested in manufacturing facilities. Nowadays, the Cooperative owns 22 of them. Currently, Cocamar counts on more than 20,000 associated farmers and has branches in more than 100 cities, in 5 Brazilian states. The Cooperative’s sales are expected to reach a total of 7 billion dollars in 2026. Commodities account for 51% of current sales, As for retail products, the Cooperative keeps more than 80 items for human consumption, which are sold both domestically and abroad.
