Elkenana was established in 1999 on approximately 8,000 feddans in the Wadi El-Natroun area, Beheira Governorate, Egypt. Within a few years, the company became one of Egypt’s leading agricultural producers by adopting advanced technologies in irrigation, irrigation monitoring, fertilization, and plant protection. El Kenana produces a wide range of high-quality crops, including oranges, blueberries, lemons, clementine, pomegranates, grapes, mangoes, cherries, tomatoes, paprika, asparagus, potatoes, peanuts, and bananas. In pursuit of the highest quality standards, the company also produces premium olive oil and pickles through a state-of-the-art processing facility located within the fields, ensuring minimal time between harvest and processing. Additionally, El Kenana operates a modern tissue culture plant producing banana plantations, ornamental plants, and flowers. The facility is equipped with advanced technologies and strict hygienic procedures, including a PCR laboratory, to ensure disease-free plants and support research and development for introducing new varieties.
