FENIP is a federation of professional associations dedicated to Morocco’s fishing and seafood processing industry. It plays a key role in strengthening the sector’s visibility at both national and international levels by promoting industrial expertise, human know-how, competitiveness, and product diversity. Established on November 21, 1996, FENIP brings together seven professional associations representing more than 300 companies operating across the seafood value chain. These companies cover six strategic segments: canned fish, semi-preserved products, seafood freezing, fish meal and fish oil, aquaculture, and seaweed processing. Through its member associations—UNICOP, AMASCOP, ANAFAP, ANICOM, FIPROMER, AMA & UNAM, and the Agar-Agar sector—FENIP acts as a unifying platform that supports industry development, innovation, and sustainable growth.
