Harakat-Afghanistan Investment Climate Facility Organization is an independent, Afghan-led non-profit dedicated to transforming Afghanistan’s business and investment climate. Since 2008, Harakat has partnered with government, private sector, civil society, and international development agencies to reduce regulatory and institutional barriers, foster transparent policy reform, and catalyse private sector-led economic growth. Harakat’s work spans investment facilitation, public-private dialogue, legal and regulatory reform, women’s economic inclusion, and access to finance initiatives that strengthen local enterprises and enhance competitiveness. By empowering Afghan businesses and improving market conditions, Harakat contributes to sustainable job creation, increased private investment, and resilient economic ecosystems.
