The Brazilian Institute of Beans, Pulses and Special Crops (IBRAFE) is the national entity representing Brazil’s pulses and special crops sector, with a strong focus on dry beans, pulses and sesame. IBRAFE works to strengthen the competitiveness and international positioning of Brazilian agribusiness through market intelligence, trade promotion, and institutional engagement.
Acting as a bridge between producers, exporters, government authorities and international partners, IBRAFE supports the development of standards, quality alignment and regulatory compliance, facilitating access to key global markets. IBRAFE organizes and participates in major international trade fairs, buyer–seller meetings, technical missions and conferences, creating platforms for business generation.
