Koperasi Penternak Burung Walit Malaysia Berhad (P-6-0601) was established in 2012 by members of the Malaysia Birdnest Ranchers Association. The primary mission of the cooperative is to prioritize consumers by ensuring that all its products under the brand trademarks of Kowalit® and ebn® are safe and of the highest quality. Koperasi Penternak Burung Walit Malaysia Berhad’s birdnest processing facility is located in Lunas, Kedah has been operating since 2015 and is the only birdnest processing facility in Malaysia with an accredited cleanroom Grade ‘D’ processing area. All Kowalit® bird nests processed in the factory are free of additives and chemicals and are required to meet strict safety and quality standards to ensure the bird’s nest’s high quality cleanliness and to preserve its nutrients, especially the protein and sialic acid. The facility complies with HALAL JAKIM, HACCP, GMP, MeSTI, and Veterinary Health Mark standards—ensuring trusted quality, safety, and confidence for consumers.
