The story of Rians begins in 1901 on a small farm in the heart of Berry, in central France. It was here that Désiré and Francine Triballat, the great-great-grandparents of Hugues Triballat, who now heads the company, became farmers and breeders of a few cows. In 1980, the Garlic and Fine Herbs Roll, a cheese specialty with its characteristic spiral, was created. It is made from our fresh cheeses. A burst of flavors. Its tender and creamy core is enhanced with a delicate touch of garlic and fine herbs, bringing freshness and an irresistible aroma. A few years later, in 1992, our Crème Brûlée was born. Over the years, we have continued to offer premium French-style cheeses and desserts, made in full respect of tradition.
