Maçarico SA was established in the 1930’s in Portugal, starting with a small business of table olives. Over the years, due to a permanent investment of the company in R&D, the activities expanded to a wider range of food products and nowadays the portfolio includes Ripe Olives, Green Olives, Tree-ripened Olives, Lupin Beans, Pickles, Olive Pastes, Culinary Pastes, Olive Oils and Sauces (Hot Sauce, Soya Sauce, Worcestershire Sauce, Francesinha Sauce, Chimi-Churri Sauce, Mustard, Mayonnaise, Ketchup).
The enduring focus of Maçarico in R&D, quality certification, human resources qualification and improvement of social- and environmental performance have been key factors for the success of the company.
Maçarico is certified with the System Quality Management and Food Safety, according to the IFS Food Standard, assuring its customers high quality products combined with total food safety. Maçarico is also Kosher and Halal certified.
Since 2024, Maçarico is integrated in the Angel Camacho Group.
