Momtaz Akrami Trading Company was founded in 2007. Originally exporting dried fruits, plants and pulses, their bold ambitions have seen them already expand their range of products. They now also stock seeds and nuts, resulting in an incredibly well-rounded business. Liaising with all Afghan provinces, and over 50 partner companies in total, they aim to source the best products across the country. they use a combination of machinery and manual work to grade and package their 40 tons of output each week.
. At present, they sell over 20 products in bulk across two continents, exporting an impressive 6,000 tons over the last three years. Their largest trading partners are UAE, Turkey, Bangladesh, Jordan and Iraq but other markets include Syria, Lebanon, India, Germany, Pakistan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
