The plant covers an area of over 20.000 square meters, and was built using the industry’s most modern technologies. The slaughterhouse of about 8.000 square meters, is one of few to be fitted out with three different slaughter lines. Always attentive to the needs of different markets, the plant is even equipped to perform ritual slaughter. A meticulous logistical organisation ensures an efficient distribution service both in Italy and abroad. The attention to the products that arrive on the consumers’ tables starts with the scrupulous controls throughout the supply chain. Siciliani spa has always established direct relationships with their cattle farmers who operate in full compliance with sanitary standards, and those for the welfare of the animals and their feed. Because an animal that is raised properly ensures healthy, tasty meat. The capability of the staff, the speed of execution of sub-sectioning and the automation of the packaging and labelling processes, are essential in preparing to sell carcass halves and cuts of the highest quality. Over 1.000 square meters for the production of freshly ground meat, burgers, skewered meats and sausages. A modern system of freezing for burgers and processed meats, also places Siciliani spa in the frozen meat sector. To ensure top quality for the whole range of products and the complete security of the supply chain, a specialized, internal analysis laboratory performs rigorous tests to ensure daily compliance with very strict quality control specifications.
