The General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions and Commercial Services is a self-funded economic unit with legal personality and financial and administrative independence. It was formed by the merger of the General Company for Iraqi Exhibitions and the General Company for Import and Export, which was dissolved by Cabinet Resolution No. 152 of 2010. - The company is an affiliate of the Ministry of Trade. - The company's headquarters are in Baghdad, and it has the right to open branches inside and outside Iraq. - The company's branches in Basra and Nineveh are responsible for organizing import and export activities and related services, holding specialized and high-quality exhibitions in the governorate in coordination with the company's headquarters and relevant authorities, and granting import and export licenses to government departments, the public, cooperative, mixed, and private sectors.
