Tradizione Italiana Italian Food Tradition is a consortium currently affiliating 16 leading Italian Food Industry companies. It seeks to promote Italian high quality food on foreign markets – particularly the emerging markets - and support member companies in the sale of their products through the retail as well as in food service channel. In addition, to strengthening the presence of its affiliated companies in international markets, Tradizione Italiana Italian Food Tradition aims to develop synergies in production, marketing and distribution among its members. With a product portfolio comprising a wide range of specialties representing the finest of the Italian food tradition - like pasta, rice and canned tomatoes, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, buffalo mozzarella, coffee, preparations for beverages and juices, biscuits and bakery products to frozen pastry, dried fruits, chocolate and biscuits - the consortium represents a turnover of € 3 billion, with exports accounting for 45%.
