From the planting of the first orchards in 1978, Valbifrut’s mission has been to modernize and develop the Chilean walnut industry. We are growers, processors and exporters to more than 30 countries. Our orchards are located in the central valley of Chile, where the conditions to grow walnuts are optimum, thanks to the natural phytosanitary barriers: Andes Mountains to the east, Pacific Ocean to the west, Atacama Desert to the north and Antarctica to the South. Our factory has the capacity to process 12.000 MT per year of inshell and machine cracked walnuts. We are BRCGS certified, following the highest quality and food safety international standards.
