Once upon a time, in the heart of the Swiss mountains of Appenzell, in the charming village of Gais, there was a small restaurant called Harmonie where Paul Fries concocted succulent salad sauces in complete privacy. Their fame spread beyond the borders of the Appenzell region so much so that people came from all over Switzerland to come and taste their salad sauces. To the greatest pleasure of all, 30 years later, the brand is still distributed throughout Swiss commerce, according to the original recipes, recognizable among many others – fresh and creamy, without preservatives and without coloring. The fairy tale has come true.
