Jacobs coffee has a long history in Germany, dating back to its founding by Johann Jacobs in 1895. Johann Jacobs (founder of this coffee brand) was a successful merchant interested in the coffee trade. Jacobs coffee became popular in Germany, and by the 1920s, the company was one of the largest coffee producers in Europe. Today Jacobs Coffee is available in more than 20 countries, and a best-seller in shops today.
