MEGGLE FOUNDER’S PRIZE AWARDED FOR THE TENTH TIME: SINCE 2012 „ADVANCE IDEAS TOGETHER“

“Advancing ideas together.” This was the motto of the MEGGLE Founders’ Prize. This year the awards ceremony took place for
the tenth time. Three applicants from southeastern Upper Bavaria
particularly impressed the jury and were awarded prizes on October 11 in the historic town hall of Wasserburg. Alexander
Mazza moderated the ceremony. In addition to the prize money
totaling EUR 75,000, the winners can look forward to a lot of attention and a strong network. Traditionally, the MEGGLE Founders’ Prize also features a
prominent speaker: After being welcomed by Marina Meggle, journalist and author Stefan Aust gave the keynote speech and, in his hotly debated speech, ruthlessly criticized the then so-called „traffic light“ government of Germany. They reportedly found themselves “in an airy realm of dreams.” But the editor of the
WeltN24 group also criticized former German Chancellor Angela Merkel, among other things for her refugee policy.
