V&V Walsh Proudly Showcase Premium Lamb and Beef

Western Australian-based meat processing company V&V Walsh, part of the 100-year-old Craig Mostyn Group, will proudly showcase our premium lamb and beef products at the 2025 Gulfood arena in Dubai in February.
Driven by innovation, V&V Walsh made a $50 million investment in a world-class automated Cold Storage facility last year to improve efficiencies in production and ultimately enhance freshness and increase shelf life for our high-quality lamb and beef products.
V&V Walsh produces 47 million kilograms of lamb, beef and mutton annually from up to 1.2 million sheep and 75,000 cattle.
The new Cold Storage facility is three storeys high covering 4000sqm and can freeze up to 65,000 cartons of beef, mutton and lamb at a time. It can plate and blast freeze 9000 cartons per day.
A key component of the facility is the 26,000-carton automated sortation system, which provides enhanced accuracy and efficiency for both order picking and associated documentation.
Craig Mostyn Group CEO Wayne Crofts said the new Cold Storage provided significant benefits to V&V Walsh’s suppliers and customers.
“The new facility increases the capacity of the V&V Walsh operations; enhancing its ability to meet the ‘just in time’ demands for modern global supply chains; and helps improve efficiency and product quality,” Mr Crofts said.
V&V Walsh General Manager Brent Dancer said he was looking forward to discussing the value of Western Australian products and export opportunities at Gulfood.
“Gulfood gives us a unique global platform to share first-hand the premium benefits of our world-class lamb and beef products that are raised in pristine natural environments in Western Australia,” he said.
