The journey begins with the cleaning of paddy in our storage units, where dust and impurities are removed. Next, the paddy is sent through automated machines that grade it by width, effectively eliminating immature grains. This ensures only the best quality paddy moves forward in the process. The mature paddy is then **pre-steamed** and kept in specialized chambers for 12-14 hours. These chambers, which function as boilers, are essential for ensuring uniform moisture absorption. **Al Noor Rice Mills** is proud to be the only rice mill in Pakistan with an imported **par-boiling plant**, the most advanced and efficient technology in the industry. This plant passes the rice through steam chambers, giving it the distinct **saila** (parboiled) quality. Following the parboiling process, the rice is transferred to special **dryers**, which efficiently reduce the moisture content to as low as 8%, ensuring optimal storage and quality. After drying, the rice is stored in bags for several hours before undergoing a final cleaning and husking process.
